General Description

In this trip we will be crossing Spain Coast to Coast over the Pyrenees on our Harleys through some of the most amazing mountain roads you can imagine. Starting in the North of Spain, by the Cantabric Sea, at the beautiful city of San Sebastian, home of the San Sebastian International Film Festival, its renowned Jazz Festival, and this year a candidate city to become “European Capital of Culture 2016″, and we will finish our route at the other side of Spain, on the East coast, by the Mediterranean Sea, in the ultra-modern city of Barcelona. On our way, we will enjoy perfect roads, up into the mountains and down to the valleys, nice and small villages, as well as big and medium sized cities, and the charm of Spanish people and culture. We will also enjoy Spanish food (and wine!!), and will have the opportunity to visit amazing monuments along the route. We’ve called this Tour, the Twists & Twins Tour, since the roads we’ll be using are mainly mountain roads, full of twists and curves of all kind.

Daily Itinerary

Like all the tours that Spain On Twins is organizing for 2010, the Twists & Twins tour will take you and your Harley on a ride that will last a week, starting on Sunday afternoon, and arriving to destination on Friday afternoon, so that on Saturday morning you’ll be free to start your ride back home. That way, you don’t have excuses not to join us, because…can’t you take a week off ?? C’mon !! Your Harley deserves it….and maybe even you deserve it !!

This particular Tour will take place in June 2010, and it will be a ride across the Pyrenees Coast to Coast with your Harley. The daily itinerary goes as follows:

1.- Sunday (13/06) – Meeting point at San Sebastian
2.- Monday (14/06) – San Sebastián – Sos del Rey Católico
3.- Tuesday (15/06) – Sos del Rey Católico – Benasque
4.- Wednesday (16/06) – Benasque – Puigcerdá
5.- Thursday (17/06) – Puigcerdá – Cadaqués
6.- Friday (18/06) – Cadaqués – Barcelona
7.- Saturday (19/06) – Ride back home.

BONUS!! As we finish our trip in the city of Barcelona, a special event organized by Harley-Davidson Spain, the Barcelona Harley Days, will start. A weekend full of activities, some of the nicest bikes of the country, as well as plenty of concerts and parties of all kinds. I guess it’s the perfect finish for this experience. Our tour will finish by Friday, so it’s on you wether to stay and join the party, or to use the weekend to ride back home. Our people will probably stay…

Booking and Payment Procedure

Since the groups are limited in size, all bookings are taken on a strictly first come, first served basis. To be eligible for a place on any tour, a deposit of 500€ (should the reserve be made 45 days prior tour start) or full payment (should the reserve be made less than 45 days prior tour start) has to be made. All due balance should be cleared 45 days before tour start. Should this requirement not be fulfilled, the booking will be lost.

Once you’ve decided that you want to participate on the Tour, click on the “book now” button at the bottom of the page. It will direct you to a form where you will be asked to fill in your personal and bike details, as well as the type of room you are willing to book. When you’re done with it, and once you’ve read and accepted our Terms and Conditions, you will be able to click the “Book me” button. When you do that, all your data is send to our email so we can check availability. In a few hours (unless we are on the road enjoying the pleasure of riding our Harleys anywhere in Spain…) we will email you back, confirming (or not) the availability of the tour, and giving you S.O.T’s bank account details so that you can transfer the Tour price. Once we receive the money (either the 500€ deposit or full payment, depending on how early are you booking), the procedure is completed and your place granted. We’ll send you another email confirming it.

The price of the Twists & Twins tour includes the following:
