Obviously, in my case, it would not be a BMW, but a Harley-Davidson….

What started as a crazy thought (getting an Ultra Classic to travel with a little more comfort, and to have a back-up bike – my Fat Boy – for our Harley Tours around Spain) is taking more and more brain time lately. I’m now checking magazines and online sites to see what’s in the market. I’m even checking with my bank how much would cost me to have (yet)another loan, so as to be able to get that second-hand Ultra. I’m trying to convince my girlfriend that “to make money takes money“, and that I could get a cheaper Road King or Electra Standard, but that I’m going for the UItra, so that she can travel with me more often (and this is not an excuse, it’s the truth, I promise !!). I’m even asking how much would cost to paint it the way I want it, so that the colour is not an obstacle in my search…

Will I ride a bagger soon? Only god and my bank (and maybe my girlfriend) knows…
