General Description

Andalusia is the most southern region of Spain. It contains the essence of the Spanish character, and it has a very rich culture and a strong identity. The sun, the joy of living, the tapas, and the sound of flamenco are all around. Discover this area of Spain riding your Harley, one of the best ways to discover it.  Slowly, enjoying the road, its views, and the friendly people we will surely encounter along the way.

Our tour will start at the city of Málaga (second most populous city of Andalusia, and the sixth largest in Spain), and we’ll take a circular tour that will take us and our Harleys back to Malaga in a week, after visiting the main cities of the region, namely Granada, Jaen, Córdoba, Sevilla and Cádiz. We will have curves on the mountains and sierras, as we ride through some of the beautiful environmentally protected areas that Andalucia has, and easy and long straight roads in the valleys that connect the main cities. Besides visiting the main cities, we will also visit the so-called “pueblos blancos” (white villages), small villages  that lay within a mountainous area, painted in white to avoid the extreme heat in summer, where the clock seems to be stopped long time ago, and where beauty, peace and silence are the most used words to describe its atmosphere. The road that connects all those “Pueblos Blancos” is one of the most beautiful roads in Spain, a road that cries out to be ridden on our Harleys, that has some simply amazing views that will leave memorable images in your mind difficult to forget when you go back home. The hotels selected are mainly luxurious and beautiful old palaces and castles, now turned into comfortable hotels, as well as some modern examples of hotel architecture.

Daily Itinerary

Like all the tours that Spain On Twins is organizing for 2010, the Sun & Twins tour will take you and your Harley on a ride around Spain that will last a week, starting on Sunday afternoon, and arriving to destination on Friday afternoon, so that on Saturday morning you’ll be free to start your ride back home. That way, you don’t have excuses not to join us, because…can’t you take a week off ?? C’mon !! Your Harley deserves it….and maybe even you deserve it !!

This particular Tour will take place in October 2010, and it will be a ride around the Southest Region of Spain (Andalucia) on your Harley. It will start and finish at Malaga. The daily itinerary goes as follows:

1.- Sunday (10/10) – Meeting point at Malaga.
2.- Monday (11/10) – Malaga – Granada
3.- Tuesday (12/10) – Granada – Cordoba
4.- Wednesday (13/10) – Cordoba – Sevilla
5.- Thursday (14/10) – Sevilla – Arcos de la Frontera
6.- Friday (15/10) – Arcos de la Frontera – Malaga
7.- Saturday (16/10) – Ride back home.

Pricing and Conditions

Since the groups are limited in size, all bookings are taken on a strictly first come, first served basis. To be eligible for a place on any tour, a deposit of 500€ (should the reserve be made 45 days prior tour start) or full payment (should the reserve be made less than 45 days prior tour start) has to be made. All due balance should be cleared 45 days before tour start. Should this requirement not be fulfilled, the booking will be lost.

Booking and Payment Procedure:

Once you’ve decided on which of our Touring Rides you want to participate, click on the “book now” button. It will direct you to a form where you will be asked to fill in your personal and bike details, as well as the type of room you are willing to book. When you’re done with it, and once you’ve read and accepted our Terms and Conditions, you will be able to click the “Book me” button. When you do that, all your data is send to our email so we can check availability. In a few hours (unless we are on the road enjoying the pleasure of riding our Harleys anywhere in Spain…) we will email you back, confirming (or not) the availability of the tour, and giving you S.O.T’s bank account details so that you can transfer the Tour price. Once we receive the money (either the 500€ deposit or full payment, depending on how early are you booking), the procedure is completed and your place granted. We’ll send you another email confirming it.

The price of the Twists & Twins tour includes the following:
